FBM KLCI closed 9.91 pts up on Friday

16/10 The FBM KLCI closed 9.91 pts up at 1256.77. IGB +36c to RM 2.33, KLK + 22c to RM 14.70, TNB + 19c to RM 8.48 and RHBCap +25 c to RM 5.69.

16/10 The FBM KLCI is up 1.69 pts to 1248.55 at 12.30 pm. CIMB +14c to RM 12.32, KLK + 10c to RM 14.58, IGB +16 c to RM 2.13 and Digi -98c to Rm 21.42.

16/10 Spot gold is up 24c to US$1,050.44 an ounce at 12:15pm. It was trading at a high of US$1,053.90 earlier in the morning in Singapore.

16/10 Malaysians snap up 10,000 advance tickets for Michael Jackson concert movie. This is it on first day of sales yesterday; movie to open Oct 29, 2009



16/10 Bursa Malaysia posted a Q3 net profit of RM 30.75m on revenue of Rm 86.28m attributable to trading revenue from securities market.

16/10 Crude Palm oil third-month futures gained RM 60 to RM 2,171 per tonne as Nymex crude oil traded just below US $78 per barrel at mid-afternoon.

16/10 European stock markets are up in Friday morning trade with regional gauge DJ Stoxx 600 rising two-thirds of a percent on earnings outlook.

16/10 The Dow gained another 47.08 points or 0.47 pct to 10062.94 in overnight session; Crude oil jumped USD 2.40 to USD 77.58 per barrel.


15/10 At 5pm, the FBM KLCI is 0.02 pts higher at 1,246.86; Digi adds 92 sen to Rm22.40, Bursa adds 26 sen to RM 8.45, CIMB is down 14 sen to Rm 12.18.
